The Imperial, Barnstaple, one of Devon’s Premier 4 Star Hotels, is looking for a Chef d` Partie to join and compliment our established brigade.
Apprentice Chefs Required
We require a candidate who is passionate about food and quality ingredients who is willing and ready to be trained by our professional team of chefs to the high standards expected at Brend Hotels. A dedicated individual is required to assist the senior chefs in the day to day running of an efficient and profitable kitchen whilst gaining a recognised apprenticeship.
We have opportunities for apprentices looking for a career in all the main disciplines of a modern professional kitchen including the main and pastry sections.
The successful candidates will be rewarded with a level 2 or 3 professional cookery apprenticeships and will also benefit from certificated food hygiene training along with HACCP, Health and Safety and further comprehensive in- house training. In return we would like to see individuals who are willing to dedicate themselves to this excellent opportunity.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship after 18 – 24 months, further opportunities to progress in to a Chef de Partie role may be available throughout the prestigious Brend Group of Hotels.

FULL TIME WAITER/RESS
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person to join our existing Restaurant team, working in Barnstaple’s only 4 star Hotel.
Experience is not essential as full training will be given, but experience with fine dining and the hotel industry would be an advantage.
This is a Full Time position to include Split Shifts, Evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
Uniform provide whilst on duty.
