Deposits
We require a deposit of 25% by the 30th June 2013 and full payment will be due by the 30th November 2013.
Christmas & New Year Holiday Cancellations
In the event of cancelling your holiday, we must receive notification in writing. Cancellation charges will be notified to you by invoice. We regret that we are unable to make any exceptions.

The Brend Hotel cancellation insurance scheme is not available during this period. In the event of possible cancellations we strongly advise that you take out a separate insurance policy.
Christmas Eve
Tuesday 24th December 2013
Arrive at your leisure during the afternoon and once you have settled in, enjoy a traditional Devon Cream Tea which will be served in the lounge between 3.30pm - 5.00pm where the festive games and Christmas competitions will begin. From 6.00pm a Christmas Eve Cocktail Reception will be hosted by the Management and Staff in the lounge, accompanied by Barnstaple Town Ladies Choir. Dinner will be served in The Arlington Restaurant followed by an evening of festivities with Choristers (hymn sheets will be supplied). For those guests wishing to attend Midnight Mass, a list of local churches will be provided by reception. On return, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies will be served.
Christmas Day
Wednesday 25th December 2013
"Merry Christmas to all our guests" Start your Christmas Day off traditionally with a full English breakfast. Join all the guests in the lounge for a Champagne Reception at 11.45am before indulging in a splendid four course traditional Christmas luncheon with all the trimmings, in The Arlington Restaurant. For those with the energy, the festive competitions begin. The Queen’s Christmas message will be shown in the lounge, where Christmas Cake and Tea will be served. A Christmas buffet will be presented in the restaurant for dinner from 7.00pm, followed by a night at the races.
Boxing day
Thursday 26th December 2013
After a hearty breakfast it’s time to get your Santa Boots on and join us in a “Find The Santa” treasure hunt hidden within the hotel. Guests wishing to be the first to hit the sales Atlantic Village is open and the local Barnstaple shops are a Boxing Day bonus for retail therapy. Alternatively, guests can sit back and relax in the lounge for the afternoon. Tonight is our Boxing Day Gala Dinner, where competition winners will be revealed followed by an evening of dancing.
Friday 27th December 2013
For those staying an extra day with us breakfast will be followed by a morning of lesiure, The River Taw and Queen Annes Walk offer a lovely stroll for those wishing to stretch their legs and work off all that Christmas Fare. The afternoon will comprise of a fun Wine Tasting in The Tower Suite and a charity raffle with prizes galore. For your final evening, dinner will be accompanied by Pete Fry, followed by Bingo in the Kingsley Suite for all those wishing to take part.

For guests arriving today, settle into your room, relax and later enjoy the novelty New Year games and competitions in our Tower Suite Lounge. Dinner will be served in The Arlington Restaurant from 6.30pm, accompanied by music from Pete Fry. Tonight’s entertainment will be a fun Night at the Races in the Terrace Lounge for everyone to have a flutter on.

Arrive at your leisure during the afternoon. We invite you to the lounge from 6.30pm onwards to meet your host and enjoy a Champagne Reception. The Imperial five course Gala Dinner will be served in The Arlington Restaurant from 7.00pm, followed by dancing in The Kingsley Suite. On the stroke of midnight, celebrate the arrival of the New Year and enjoy the rest of the evening by dancing the night away.
New Year's Day

"Happy New Year To All Our Guests" Full English breakfast will be served in the restaurant from 8.00am-10am for the late starters. Guests can enjoy The Imperial Hotel’s first putting competition in the Tower Suite and also French bowling in the Kingsley Suite. Anyone wishing for a day of leisure can sit back, relax and watch the New Year games take place.
