Sunday
Arrival Day; Falmouth is calling. Pop into town and visit our many shops, galleries and coffee houses. Make sure to be back for afternoon cream tea served daily from 4pm.
This evening please join the management and staff on the Terrace for drinks and find out all that's going on in and around Falmouth during your stay.
Monday
This morning after breakfast, take a look out on our terrace, and come face to face with some of the most majestic birds of prey in Cornwall. Local Charity, Screech Owl Sanctuary will be on hand to give an educational experience you will not forget.Dinner at the Royal Duchy is always a treat, fantastic 2 rosette awarded quality.
Tonight is no different so indulge in the finest food and the most fun entertainment. In our Terrace Lounge this evening at 9, we find ourselves under starting orders for TCs Race Night.
Tuesday
Why not use today to get to know the wonderful staff here at the Royal Duchy Hotel, whether you're around for breakfast on the terrace, or Lunch in Terrace Lounge, the staff are sure to make you feel right at home.
Remember to sign up for tonight's summer BBQ, weather permitting of course. This is your chance to meet some of the talented chefs responsible for winning our two rosettes. This is also your opportunity to relax with the guitar vocals of the very talented Alan Jenkins.
If you would rather a more formal dinning experience then rest assured our Terrace Restaurant will remain open for service.
Wednesday
Following breakfast today, at 10am join our dedicated Beautician Michelle, in the Coleman Room for an hour's Q&A with samples from top brands, feel free to ask questions and make a booking for a full treatment during your stay.This Afternoon, join staff and guests on the Terrace or in the Terrace Lounge. Our dedicated team of bar staff would be more than happy to mix the cocktail of your choice, or for the more adventurous among you, simply ask for the 'Cocktail of The Day'.
Tonight throughout dinner be amazed by magician Jay Fortune who will be performing close up magic around your tables, then later appearing on stage for one final act and to introduce this evenings talented vocalist. Your seats will be reserved for you, so if you prefer to dine early you will always have a place to sit to view the entertainment. Places are also available at the Terrace Bar to view these incredible performances from afar.
Thursday
Following breakfast today, at 10am join one of the Westcountry's most renowned chefs, Brend Hotels Dez Turland for a topical chat and discussion in our Coleman Room. There must be a minimum of 12 guests to attend so please book up early.Breakfast on our Terrace is always a popular affair so please ensure you let our Restaurant Manager know you wish to reserve a table, as early as possible. From this vantage point the view really does speak for itself, high on the point to your left is Pendennis Castle, so after breakfast why not take a leisurely stroll to the historic battlement, built by Henry viii.Join us in the Coleman Room this afternoon between 4pm and 5pm for face painting, this is for the young and young at heart, children's teas will then be served to those who wish to stay on.
This evening throughout dinner relax to the familiar sounds of the ever popular Jeremy Mathews, our resident pianist.
Friday
There are so many places around Cornwall to visit. It is sometimes difficult to decide between the countryside and seaside, cosmopolitan towns or quaint villages so maybe a shopping trip to the Cornish capital of Truro could be on the cards this morning.
And speaking of cards, tonight after dinner the chips are on us as Tim Coleman hosts 'Casino Royale'. At 5 o'clock this afternoon the children are invited to bring the art works they have produced throughout their stay to be judged by the management team, never have they been faced with more difficult decisions. There will be prizes for all who take part, and they will also have their masterpieces displayed.
Saturday
Saturday night is party night at The Royal Duchy Hotel. We combine our four star service, and two rosette awarded food with the very best in live entertainment.
Tonight after dinner dance the night away with the visiting band.
