There's something for everyone at The Royal Duchy Hotel. Our perfect seafront location is a great place to start discovering Cornwall. We have wonderful beaches on our doorstep, Falmouth's exciting harbour and world class attractions.

- We have a variety of attractions to visit in the local area and Pendennis Castle, the National Maritime Museum and the new Falmouth Aquarium are all within walking distance of the hotel
- Indoor attractions to enjoy include - Falmouth's Phoenix cinema shows all the latest films, Raze the Roof an indoor play centre is a short drive away, Ships and Castles Leisure centre has a fun pool and special family sessions, the Aquarium and Maritime Museum are an indoor nautical experience and if you don't mind getting wet there are a whole host of water based activities and courses you can take part in from paddle boarding to sailing.
- Three beaches are within walking distance - the closest, Castle Beach is just across the road and is perfect for rock pooling. Gyllyngvase Beach is a sandy beach a short walk along the seafront and Swanpool Beach is along the scenic coast path where we highly recommend their quirky ice creams. The Swanpool area also boasts a crazy golf course and plenty of duck feeding opportunities. Buckets, spades and fishing nets are all available to borrow!
- There are also the hotel's own fantastic surroundings to enjoy too with our luxurious beauty salon, sauna, indoor pool and hot beds. Outdoor games are provided on the lawn along with our new Pirate ship and our Coleman Room becomes a games room during the holidays including a Nintendo Wii.
- We have a full family entertainment programme over the holidays
- With our expert local knowledge of the area we can help you plan your days out and we can organise a whole range of great local activities like boat trips and sailing.
- Baby packs are available which offer changing mat, bottle steriliser, bottle cleaning brush, washing liquid, bath toys and a potty.
- Children's cutlery, dinner sets and beakers are available along with highchairs and booster seats.
- Children's menu is available and families are welcome to dine together in the main restaurant. High teas are served from 5.30pm if preferred.
