Arriving for your Wedding
As the bride and groom you will be treated in true Saunton Sands Hotel style, whether you have stayed overnight or arrive on the morning of your ceremony.
- Before the ceremony, the registrar will check final details with the groom and the bride
- After the registrar has spoken to the groom, the wedding guests can make their way into the ceremony room
- The bride's father and the bride will then enter with the bridal party
- The civil ceremony will then take place which lasts approximately 20 minutes
Following The Wedding Ceremony
Refreshments of your choice can be offered to your guests. You will then have the opportunity to meet with your guests and take your wedding photographs in our luxurious Devon surroundings, with the sea making a perfect backdrop all year round.
Guests will be welcomed to the reception by the receiving line, and guests will be invited to take their place at the table for the wedding breakfast. The Toastmaster will (if required) announce Grace and Your meal will be served in the Brend Hotels tradition, followed by the cutting of the cake, speeches and toasts.
Your wedding can be as formal or informal as you wish. Please do not hesitate to discuss your personal preferences with us, we will be delighted to plan your wedding to suit you.

- Ceremony rooms and guest seating for between 10 and 230 persons
- Liveried welcome including red carpet
- Changing room for the bride and groom by arrangement
- Master of ceremonies

- Reduced rates for wedding guests wishing to book accommodation for the evening of the wedding.
